To get to the No Name on Bridgeway  (or Smitty's on  Caledonia Street) from San Francisco, drive North over the Golden Gate Bridge and almost as soon as you've past the North Tower take the exit on the right immediately past the viewpoint.  Stay on Alexander Avenue as it winds down towards Sausalito, and when you find yourself back at sea level you are on Bridgeway.  As you drive by Sausalito Point you will see the Ferry Terminal on your right ... by the roadside there's a small bus shelter near the Bank of America - on the landlubber's side of the road you'll see the Bar with No Name.  Incidentally, it is only a few doors away from Patterson's where you can enjoy quite a selection of guid Scotch malts if you want a change from the music.  For a game of pool or shuffle board at Smitty's, drive a quarter mile North of the No Name Bar and take the first left turn which immediately swings you parallel to Bridgeway facing Caledonia Street.  The Fire Station is on the right ... ahead of you on the left is the local movie theater.  Two short blocks North on the right you'll find Smitty's - music is rare there - but you'll find the Eugene Huggins' Blues Band playing on special occasions such as Halloween and St. Patrick's Day.  Coming from the North on California 101, take the Marin City / Sausalito exit and make your way southward on Bridgeway.
