Downtown Mill Valley hosts two Music Institutions ~ the Sweetwater Saloon and Mill Valley Music.

It is likely the majority of West Coast musicians and a goodly portion of world famous artists have been seen in either institution.  No visit to the S.F. Bay Area is complete unless you have browsed one of the  biggest collections of vinyl and shellac that exists today, and spent the evening having a few beers at Sweetwater - if its Monday night, enjoying Austin Delone hosting the areas longest running 'open mike'.

Even if you can't stay for long, pop in and look at the photographs and memorabilia in either establishment.
