The Awakening

Young wife and mother Edna Pontellier is enjoying a lovely vacation with her family. However, she may not be as content as she seems. Edna begins to realize that there is more to life than just being a wife and mother and as she does so, she learns that she wants to find out what else is out there. But that is a hard task to undertake, and she learns, with tragic results, that maybe not knowing is better than knowing.
